Former President Donald Trump is on track to clinch the GOP nomination once again, baby! The dude surpassed the magic number of 1,215 delegates needed to nab the nomination during Tuesday’s primaries, and it’s a slam dunk, folks. The Associated Press called Washington for Trump, where he scored a huuuge 72% of the vote. Wham, bam, thank you ma’am, Trump is crushing it!
The former president already had 1,089 delegates in his back pocket, and with the cherry on top from Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington, he is officially in the driver’s seat. The dude has dunked on more than a dozen Republican challengers during this primary season, and he ain’t stopping now. But guess what? The Democratic nominee is none other than President Joe Biden, who also hit the delegate jackpot. It’s like a rematch of the ages, y’all!

But hold on to your hats, because Trump’s got a few legal hurdles to jump over. The dude is facing a bunch of criminal indictments, and his first trial is set to kick off in March in New York, claiming he paid off some adult film star during the 2016 election. He’s trying to push those trials down the road, but hey, anything can happen in this crazy election game, am I right?
