UAE Under Fire: Iranian Strikes Test Biden’s Resolve

The United Arab Emirates has publicly condemned what its government described as renewed Iranian missile and drone attacks against Emirati territory, a brazen assault on a partner who has stood with the West. This escalation, coming after a fragile ceasefire, proves once again that appeasement only invites aggression — the regime in Tehran tests limits and pays no price until confronted.

UAE officials said their air defenses intercepted incoming missiles while at least one drone set off a large fire at the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone, wounding three foreign workers and threatening critical energy infrastructure. The images and alerts from Dubai and other emirates of explosions and intercepts show the very real danger this campaign poses to civilian life and commerce in the Gulf.

Washington is now weighing whether to escalate militarily as American forces move to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and merchant shipping safe; U.S. units have already engaged Iranian assets at sea in recent days. The administration’s hand is being forced — when Iranian-backed or Iranian-directed forces target our allies and global trade routes, words are not enough.

Conservative voices on cable and in uniform have been blunt: strength deters, hesitation invites more attacks, and the United States must be ready to resume combat operations to protect commerce and allies. Retired special operators appearing on national television have urged a decisive posture and concrete action to destroy the capability and logistics behind these drone and missile strikes.

This moment should unite every patriot who believes in peace through strength — not in cowardly cave-ins that embolden tyrants. Our leaders must stop treating the Middle East like a place to negotiate away deterrence and start treating it as a theatre where American resolve and our allies’ security are non-negotiable.

The choice is simple: back our friends in the Gulf with real deterrence, secure commercial sea lanes, and impose immediate costs on Tehran, or watch the emboldened regime widen its campaign until the price is paid by American livelihoods and regional stability. Hardworking Americans deserve a government that protects American interests and stands tall for peace, not a policy that excuses aggression.
