It seems that even the venerated West Point, with its long history of training the finest officers for the U.S. Army, has fallen prey to the leftist ideology of “wokeness.” Yes, you heard that right! West Point unveiled its new and improved mission statement that has conservative heads spinning faster than a tornado in Kansas.

The old mission statement, with its emphasis on Duty, Honor, Country, was a gem of American values and tradition. But now, the “woke” version focuses on some vague Army Values, leaving many to wonder what exactly those values entail. It’s like swapping grandma’s recipe for apple pie with a tofu salad – no thanks!
Lt. Gen. Steve Gilland, in his statement, tries to smooth things over by mentioning the sacred trinity of Duty, Honor, Country repeatedly. But if they are so crucial, why strip them from the mission statement like a thief in the night? It’s like taking the cream out of a Twinkie – the best part is gone!
And let’s not forget about the mention of changing the mission statement nine times in a century. Just because something has changed before doesn’t mean it should change now. It’s like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic – it may look different, but it’s still headed for disaster!
The heart and soul of West Point were captured in those timeless words of Duty, Honor, Country. To water them down in the name of “progress” is like serving decaf at a cowboy’s breakfast – it just ain’t right! So, let’s hope that West Point remembers where it came from and steers clear of the treacherous waters of “wokeness” before it’s too late!
It’s clear that the woke agenda is infiltrating even our most cherished institutions like West Point. But we must not stand idly by as our values are trampled upon in the name of political correctness. Duty, Honor, Country – these are the pillars that have held our nation strong, and we must fight to preserve them against the tide of woke madness.
