Young Men Turning on Rogan, Musk and Carlson — Time to Deliver

New polling data has something rare: bad news for internet bros and the men who follow them. Recent results from the Speaking With American Men Project (SAM), reported by Puck, show a broad drop in approval among men aged 18–29 for big-name influencers tied to the “manosphere.” Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson and Andrew Tate — very different men, same shrinking fan club.

New data: manosphere influencers losing young men

The SAM numbers are hard to ignore. Joe Rogan’s approval among young men slipped about eleven points to roughly 42 percent. Elon Musk fell about 14 points to near 37 percent, and Tucker Carlson dropped around a dozen points. Andrew Tate sits in the negative with a very low rating after his arrest and the clouds around him. Put together, the results show that young men aren’t just shifting from left to right — they’re losing faith in the loud personalities who promised answers.

Why young men are souring on influencers

There are a few simple reasons. First, outrage wears out; constant grievance without a plan is exhausting. Second, scandals and hypocrisy cut through the mystique — when followers see moral or legal trouble, the sheen comes off fast. Third, many of these influencers talk big about saving young men but offer little in the way of real-life tools: jobs, trade skills, stable families, or community. Young men wanted leaders who take their problems seriously. They’re finding that being heard is not the same as being helped.

What conservatives should do about declining support

For conservatives this is a warning and an opportunity. Warning: you can’t outsource outreach to podcast hosts and internet stars and expect lasting loyalty. Opportunity: build institutions that deliver. That means policies and programs that help young men get good jobs, learn trades, form healthy families, and find mentors — not just shout at them from a studio. If the right wants to win and keep young men, it needs a plan that looks more like a vocational school and less like a viral clip.

This slump in influencer approval isn’t the end of the story; it’s a chance to change the story. Conservatives should stop treating celebrity followings as a substitute for governing and start offering concrete answers. The manosphere’s decline shows one thing clearly: men will follow leaders who actually fix problems, not those who only complain about them. Time to get to work.
