Fox’s The Five and other conservative commentators rightly seized on the moment, exposing the Democratic establishment’s belief that a few mortifying sound bites can be wiped away with a laugh and a rebrand. This isn’t introspection — it’s a political dodge aimed at winning back voters who rejected the party’s theatrics in 2024. The media circus around the phrase “Woke 1” only proves how desperate Democrats are to paper over their past.
The real story is accountability, and Democrats refuse to take any. For years progressives pushed policies and rhetoric that scared suburban voters and emboldened crime, and now the same leaders expect Americans to accept a spin cycle instead of answers.
