Conservatives who care about nationhood are not asking for cruelty; we are demanding competence. Sensible, principled immigration policy means secure borders, rigorous vetting, strict enforcement of the rule of law, and programs that insist newcomers embrace core civic values — language, work, and allegiance to the nation’s founding principles. Integration is not a one-way demand on the receiving country; it is a covenant that newcomers must honor if they expect to share in our prosperity and protections.
Americans should study Britain’s experience as a warning, not an inevitability. If we remain indifferent while elites champion open borders and cultural relativism, we will face our own strains on schools, hospitals, and social cohesion. The remedy is clear: restore control of our borders, prioritize the safety and prosperity of our citizens, and insist on an assimilation agenda that unites rather than divides — because a free and flourishing nation depends on it.
