The Biden administration is in absolute panic mode as they scramble to figure out a response to a decision by U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk. Late last week, the judge revoked the FDA’s approval for mifepristone, which is commonly used in abortion pills. The 67-page ruling claimed that the FDA failed to adequately evaluate the long-term medical and psychological impact of mifepristone, going against prior claims that the drug was both safe and effective. The ruling will officially take effect later this week if there is no appeal filed by the White House.

Unsurprisingly, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, a notorious pro-abortion fanatic, indicated that ignoring Kacsmaryk’s decision is not off the table. In an interview with CNN, Becerra stated that, “the president said that way back when the Dobbs decision came out. Every option is on the table. An appeals court, the Supreme Court, whatever court has to understand that this ruling by this one judge overturns not just access to mifepristone, but possibly any number of drugs.”

Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre suggested that the drug has been utilized for two decades in other countries, saying that the American people “have access to this drug.” However, what Jean-Pierre fails to acknowledge is that other countries’ health standards and regulations often pale in comparison to those of the United States.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, Democratic leaders are advocating for President Biden to simply ignore the decision altogether. It’s clear that the Democrats’ radical pro-abortion agenda overrides the rule of law and ethical healthcare decisions.
The Biden administration’s continued support of abortion at any cost is not only morally egregious, but it’s also reckless. Judge Kacsmaryk’s decision should be applauded for prioritizing the health and wellbeing of women across the country. Let’s hope that this ruling will not only stand, but that we will also see more judges stand up for moral decency in the years to come.
