In yet another deflection tactic from the President, Joe Biden laughed off accusations of bribery, seeming to suggest that such allegations were too trivial to take seriously. When asked about a $5 million payment made to him by Burisma Holdings, an energy company in Ukraine on which his son Hunter Biden was a board member, Biden appeared eager to change the subject.

Meanwhile, Representatives Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Andy Biggs have all taken note of this alarming news. Greene confirmed that the allegation was “definitely illegal,” and not related to previous claims made by Rudy Giuliani in 2020.
These allegations suggest that Burisma Holdings was looking to buy a US-based oil and gas company, which was apparently advised by Hunter Biden and his partners. Greene went on to say that the company paid $5 million to two members of the Biden family to get Viktor Shokin, a prosecutor investigating Burisma, fired. Given that such illegal practices are commonplace in Ukraine and Russia, these allegations should not be taken lightly.
Representative Boebert confirmed that the document in question was related to the alleged bribery payment made to President Joe Biden, not his son. While she could not reveal any specific details for the safety of the source, Boebert spoke up in support of full disclosure and transparency from the FBI.
Congressman Andy Biggs added that these allegations could lead to a presidential impeachment, emphasizing the urgency of finding out just how far such misconduct extended. James Comer, the House Oversight Committee Chairman, has also grown increasingly frustrated and has called for answers and accountability in the wake of the FBI’s initial denial of the existence of the FD-1023 record.
Overall, these allegations are extremely serious and should not be taken lightly. It is time for the FBI and the rest of the government to fully disclose any and all information related to this alleged bribery, no matter how inconvenient or embarrassing it may seem.
