Colin Kaepernick, a former NFL quarterback, spoke about his graphic novel "Change the Game" and his upbringing as a Black child in a White family. He shared his challenges with grappling with his racial identity and accused his adoptive parents of contributing to racism. Some may view this as another instance of the left-wing media promoting a liberal agenda.

In 1987, Colin Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a 19-year-old white American woman named Heidi Russo, whose ancestry is Italian. Kaepernick's birth father is of black American descent with Ghanaian, Nigerian, and Ivorian roots, but his identity remains unknown. Prior to Kaepernick's birth, Russo and his birth father separated, and at just 5 weeks old, Kaepernick was placed for adoption. He was subsequently adopted by Rick and Teresa Kaepernick, a white couple who had lost two sons to heart defects. At the time of his adoption, the Kaepernicks already had two biological children, a son named Kyle and a daughter named Devon, and they chose to adopt a boy – Colin.
How big of a piece of s*** do you have to be to accuse your adoptive parents of being racists?https://t.co/20olHFOy7z

Kaepernick has openly discussed his challenges with reconciling his racial identity and has accused his adoptive parents of contributing to systemic racism. Additionally, he gained national attention in 2016 for his protests during the national anthem before NFL games, which sparked significant controversy and a national conversation. Despite this, President Donald Trump has been openly critical of Kaepernick's actions.
Regrettably, the media with left-leaning views has opted to prioritize Kaepernick's narrative rather than addressing the genuine problems facing our nation. It is evident that this partisan media is promoting a liberal agenda to divert attention away from the crucial issues that demand our attention. Rather than centering on Kaepernick's story, we ought to concentrate on significant social issues such as poverty, education, healthcare, and others that are currently impacting our nation.
It is crucial to acknowledge that Kaepernick's experiences are not reflective of the entire Black American community. While we must recognize the challenges that Black Americans encounter, it is also important to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of many Black Americans. Rather than concentrating solely on one individual's story, we should strive to uplift and celebrate the successes of Black Americans as a whole.
The left-leaning media has long promoted a liberal agenda, and it is crucial for conservatives to speak out against it. We need to shift our attention to the actual problems that are impacting our nation and collaborate to find effective solutions that will benefit all individuals. It's time to put an end to the liberal storyline and concentrate on what truly matters: building a brighter future for every American.
