California’s Democratic Party is falling apart, and not even Governor Gavin Newsom can hide it anymore. He’s refusing to endorse anyone trying to replace him. In fact, behind closed doors, he’s blasting every Democrat in the race. The truth is simple: Not even Newsom likes his own party’s so-called “leadership.” When your own governor thinks his party’s future is a joke, you know it’s time to worry.
Let’s talk about these candidates. Katie Porter, the Democrats’ best hope, is remembered more for bullying her own staff and ugly family drama than anything resembling leadership. Another leading contender is Tom Steyer—a billionaire globalist who spends his cash shoving environmental extremism down everyone’s throat. Newsom apparently thinks Steyer is scattered, and Porter would drive businesses out of California even faster than he did.

The list of candidates doesn’t get any better: There’s a mayor who can’t manage his own city’s homelessness crisis, a former Los Angeles mayor who failed the city before, and Xavier Becerra, whose weak leadership at Health and Human Services during the pandemic was an embarrassment. It says a lot when California’s top Democrat openly criticizes all these options while mouthing empty praise in public.
This kind of chaos is the direct result of years of left-wing incompetence, backroom deals, and globalist games playing out in Sacramento. Democrats pretend their party is about “diversity” and “progress,” but what they’re really offering is a circus of failed leaders no one, not even their own governor, actually believes in. Ordinary Californians are sick of being told to accept the next radical leftist disaster while California crumbles.
But there is hope. Republican support is surging as voters look for someone with actual answers—maybe even someone who hasn’t sent businesses fleeing or turned a blind eye to crime and homelessness. With Democrats divided, maybe this is finally California’s chance to step away from the madness. Has the left really sunk so low that even their own governor can’t pretend to believe in them anymore?
