It’s happened again. Another group of so-called “Republicans” has joined forces with Democrats to block President Trump and undermine real American security. This time, they turned their backs on him during the critical push to extend a section of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)—a tool Trump says our country needs in a dangerous world. Instead of supporting the only president willing to put America First, these weak-kneed Republicans locked arms with the liberal left and handed a victory to globalists and bureaucrats.
It’s like these spineless GOP members have learned nothing from the witch hunts, the sham impeachments, and the non-stop attacks on our freedoms. Democrats weaponized FISA against Trump in the past, but now the President is demanding it be reformed and extended to protect Americans—the very thing it was intended to do in the first place. But a dozen Republicans betrayed their voters, ignored Trump’s plea, and chose to play political games instead.

Where’s the backbone? Democrats will do anything to score cheap political points and chip away at the country’s defenses, even if it means bowing to big government and foreign interests. These turncoat Republicans are enabling them. It’s no wonder the radical left keeps winning in the shadows; they’ve always got help from the limp-wristed establishment right.
This is what happens when politicians forget who sent them to Congress. They get cozy with the liberal elite, sabotage every attempt to secure our nation, and expect patriots to stay silent. But true conservatives see right through this circus. Blocking Trump’s FISA push is about one thing: keeping power in the hands of unelected D.C. insiders and leaving ordinary Americans less safe.
Are these “Republicans” more afraid of standing up to Democrats, or more afraid of standing up for the country? If they can’t even defend the Commander-in-Chief and a basic tool to protect American lives, why are they there at all?
