Hunter Biden Team Seeks to Mimic Trump Defense in Gun Case

Hunter Biden’s lawyers are attempting to pull a fast one by asking a federal judge to toss his criminal gun case conviction. They’re trying to copycat the recent justice rulings that worked in favor of former President Donald Trump. Clearly, the Biden clan believes they can repurpose Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s recent concurrence and the dismissal of Trump’s classified documents case to rescue Hunter from his own legal mess.

In their motion, Team Hunter claims that U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who led the investigation against President Joe Biden’s son, was unconstitutionally appointed. Nice try. It’s a wonder how many mental gymnastics were needed to make that argument, dragging good ol’ Clarence Thomas’s concurrence into the mix to try and save face.

This legal charade is just another example of the Biden family’s knack for wriggling out of accountability. Imagine the outrage if a member of Trump’s family had pulled this same stunt. The mainstream media would be all over it like ants on a picnic, but when it’s the Bidens, it’s nothing but a yawn-fest.

Hunter’s legal team is likely hoping that if you throw enough legal spaghetti at a judge, some of it might stick. If the Bidens get their way, it could open the floodgates for every political figure caught in legal quicksand to point at Trump and cry foul. Let’s hope the judge doesn’t fall for this hackneyed argument.

In the meantime, America watches as the Biden attorneys perform their acrobatics in the courtroom, trying to use the legal victories from Trump’s playbook. This developing story sure promises to keep the popcorn popping.
