Israel launched surprise airstrikes in Gaza, killing Hamas’ top leader Essam al-Da’alis. He was the head of Hamas’ government and the most powerful figure in Gaza. His death is a major blow to the terror group’s control over the region. Israel says he oversaw Hamas’ terrorist operations and kept their brutal rule alive.
The strikes shattered a ceasefire that had been in place since January. Hamas refused to release hostages or accept peace deals from Israel and the United States. Israel had no choice but to protect its people. Over 400 Palestinians died in the bombings, including many Hamas terrorists but also civilians caught in the crossfire.
The White House backed Israel’s right to defend itself. President Trump’s team said Hamas chose war over peace. Israel warned Hamas that the gates of hell would open if they kept holding hostages. True to their word, Israeli jets hammered Hamas targets across Gaza overnight.
Other senior Hamas leaders were wiped out in the attacks. Mahmud Abu Watfa, Hamas’ internal security chief, and Abu Ubaida Al-Jamassi, a key leader, were killed. These men helped plan the October 7th massacre that started this war. Taking them out makes Israel safer and weakens Hamas’ grip on power.
Hamas still vows to fight, but their leadership is crumbling. The terror group’s so-called government is in shambles. Israel’s defense minister promised even stronger strikes if Hamas doesn’t surrender. The world sees Hamas for what it is—a group of murderers who use civilians as shields.
Gaza’s hospitals are overwhelmed, but Hamas shares the blame. They launch rockets from schools and hide weapons in mosques. Innocent Palestinians suffer because Hamas uses them as pawns. Israel warned civilians to evacuate before strikes, showing more care than Hamas ever has.
The Middle East remains on edge. Iran-backed rebels in Yemen fired missiles at Israel, but defenses shot them down. The Biden administration’s weak policies let Iran fund these terrorists. Strong allies like Israel need America’s full support to crush threats before they grow.
This fight isn’t over. Israel will keep bombing Hamas until every hostage is free. Peace can only come when Hamas is gone for good. The world should stand with Israel as they clean out this nest of terrorists. Freedom and security will follow when Hamas’ reign of terror ends.
