Media Circus Blames Israel, Ignores Iran Threat

A recent U.S. intelligence assessment leaked to the press warned that Israeli leaders could take steps that would undermine the fragile U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding — a report promptly weaponized by hostile outlets eager to vilify Israel instead of recognizing the real threat. This so-called intelligence “leak” smells less like sober analysis and more like political theater designed to box in our closest Middle East ally while rewarding Tehran’s proxies for every provocation.

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, rightly tore into the media chorus that rushes to blame Israel for every regional flare-up, making plain that shielding Israeli civilians from Hezbollah’s rockets and tunnels is not negotiable. Danon reminded an indifferent global press that Israel’s actions target a murderous terrorist network with Iranian backing, not innocent Lebanese communities, and that national defense must come first.

Conservative Americans should be furious that intelligence and journalism are being twisted into instruments for appeasement. The Washington establishment’s obsession with a negotiated “peace” at any cost ignores ground truths: Iran’s regime and its proxy army in Lebanon are the architects of terror, and any agreement that fails to neutralize Hezbollah’s capacity to strike Israel is a paper promise destined to collapse.

Those who lecture Israel about restraint while refusing to pressure Tehran and Hezbollah to disarm show an appalling double standard. Israel has repeatedly shown it will act where others simply talk, and when the White House and negotiators treat Israeli security as expendable for a diplomatic headline, they betray both an ally and the cause of lasting peace. The ceasefire language that would freeze Iranian proxies in place without meaningful disarmament risks turning a temporary pause into a permanent danger.

Make no mistake: leaks that frame Israel as the spoiler feed Iran’s strategy of delegitimization and hand victory to the very regime that sponsors mass murder and regional chaos. If Washington allows its intelligence and press to be weaponized against Israel, it invites future crises and undercuts the credibility of American guarantees — something conservative patriots cannot, and will not, accept.

Danny Danon’s blunt rebuke of media narratives is a clarion call for patriots to recognize who our true friends and enemies are in this grave moment. America should stand unapologetically with Israel, refuse to be lectured by those who seek to weaken our ally, and insist that any diplomatic arrangement with Iran deliver real, verifiable security for the region rather than empty promises that reward aggression.
