Lee Zeldin, the EPA Administrator, sparked some much-needed laughter on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” while unveiling a blaring example of government waste: a $4 million museum that is practically a shrine to liberal ideals. This “museum,” essentially a poorly designed one-room exhibit, is a shining testament to misguided spending by a government that seemingly believes that mocking taxpayer intelligence is a valid form of “art.”
Zeldin took viewers on a tour of this 1,600 square-foot embarrassment, which has seen about as much traffic as a gas station bathroom in the middle of nowhere. He highlighted how the displays conveniently sidestep facts: they skip from Barack Obama right to Joe Biden, completely brushing off the Trump years as if they never happened. It’s almost as if the creators of the exhibit believed that the best way to interpret history is to rewrite it from a leftist perspective—just add it to the growing pile of “woke” absurdities.

Government attempts to glorify dubious ideologies wrapped in the cloak of science have historically come with their fair share of ridicule. With P.T. Barnum’s assertion that there’s a sucker born every minute, it is a wonder that the government thinks its nonsense passes the smell test. As Zeldin and Ingraham shared a light-hearted moment over this ludicrous museum, the message is clear: Keep laughing and keep shutting these absurdities down. After all, taxpayers deserve better than to fund exhibitions that honor a politicized version of history while ignoring inconvenient facts.
