Paul accuses the leftist media of promoting hysteria and dishonestly putting people on air to promote products that they make money from. As an example, he points to Morris Brown College in Atlanta, which has reinstated COVID restrictions as a precautionary step, despite not having any new reported cases.
Paul questions the necessity of these measures by highlighting that even when COVID was more potent in 2020, the death rate for young, healthy people was close to zero. He cites Germany releasing its data, which showed that not one young, healthy person died from COVID. He believes that mandating masks and vaccines is a crime, especially considering the risks they may pose to young, healthy individuals.
The Senator predicts that Americans will not “lay down and take it again” this time around. He believes there will be more resistance as people realize that these measures are driven by financial gain rather than genuine concern for public health. Paul concludes by asserting that those behind these restrictions are not high-minded individuals but are instead profiting off generating hysteria.
