And true to form, he took the opportunity to launch a scathing attack on Judge Engoron and Attorney General James.
In response to his claims, the Trump campaign has been quick to point out that Letitia James has received campaign donations from none other than George Soros, a billionaire liberal donor and a favorite target for Republicans. They suggest that “getting Trump” was the motivation behind her campaign for attorney general.
Unimpressed by Trump’s allegations, Attorney General James remains confident in her case. She cited Judge Engoron’s previous ruling, where he accused Trump of living in a “fantasy world” and inflating his net worth in order to “cheat the system.” She firmly believes that the rule of law must apply equally to everyone, regardless of their wealth or power.
