Democrats are at it again, spreading lies about former President Donald Trump’s stance on abortion, this time claiming he plans to enforce a “national ban” on the procedure if re-elected in November. Vice President Kamala Harris is leading the charge in spreading this misinformation, with seemingly no repercussions.
In a recent post on X, platform owner Elon Musk called out Harris for her falsehoods, pointing out that her claims were swiftly debunked by the platform’s fact-checking service, “Community Notes.” The attached notes not only embarrassed the White House but also cited multiple reputable sources across the media spectrum proving that Trump has no intention of implementing a national abortion ban.

Harris’s deceptive post falsely asserted, “Donald Trump would ban abortion nationwide,” and pledged to thwart his efforts with President Joe Biden. Trump’s actual stance on abortion emphasizes state autonomy in decision-making, rather than enforcing a nationwide ban.
In the aftermath of Musk’s call-out, social media users were quick to condemn Harris and the White House for their dishonesty, highlighting a pattern of disregard for the truth in political messaging. Harris, already grappling with low popularity, faced further backlash for her misleading statements, with users expressing frustration at the lack of accountability among Democratic politicians like her.
