Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has had it up to here with Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and she’s not holding back. After a shocking and tragic incident in her district, where two innocent Americans were killed in a head-on collision with a human smuggler, she took action and introduced a resolution to impeach Mayorkas. This is big news, folks!
Green is fired up, and she’s not mincing words. She’s accusing Mayorkas of completely dropping the ball when it comes to securing our country and upholding the Constitution. She’s pointing fingers at him for letting all sorts of bad stuff slip through the cracks at the border, like illegal immigrants, human traffickers, and drugs. And let’s not forget about his decision to cancel the border wall construction that was started during President Donald Trump’s time in office. She’s not happy, and she’s making sure everyone knows it.

But that’s not all! Greene’s really laying it on thick, claiming that Mayorkas has let in approximately ten million illegals across the border, which she insists is a direct threat to our national security. And she’s not letting him off the hook for his catch and release policies either, where illegals are detained, then just set free without any system in place to make sure they show up for court. She’s not buying it, and she’s making sure her voice is heard loud and clear.
To top it all off, Greene made sure to mention the two innocent Americans who lost their lives in the terrible crash caused by the human smuggler. Those poor souls, Jose Lerma and Isabel Lerma, leave behind five children. It’s a heartbreaking situation that has only fueled Greene’s fire even more.
So, strap in, folks, because it looks like there’s a showdown coming in the House. Greene’s resolution is privileged, which means it has to be addressed within two legislative days.
