House Speaker Johnson Criticizes Biden for Leadership Void Amid Global Crises

House Speaker Mike Johnson took the opportunity to throw some shade at President Joe Biden and his administration over what he described as a glaring void of leadership during what could arguably be called the most perilous period since World War II. It seems Biden preferred a sun-soaked getaway in California and a second act at Rehoboth Beach over confronting the myriad threats emerging on the world stage. While the president sips cocktails and builds sandcastles, Johnson is at the forefront, ringing alarm bells.

Johnson, not known for holding back, lambasted both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who presumably did not earn any gold stars for their performance. Their “no shame” attitude was readily apparent, especially when considering the rhetoric pouring out from the Democratic National Convention. One could almost say that while Johnson was watching CNN, the Democrats were busy crafting fairy tales that might make even the Brothers Grimm raise their eyebrows.

The House Speaker’s appearance on Fox & Friends highlighted what he sees as a serious disconnect between Democrats’ lofty speeches and the harsh realities facing the nation. Johnson emphasized the importance of making decisions grounded in facts as opposed to the emotional rhetoric that seems to be a hallmark of today’s Democratic dialogue. It’s almost as if the Democrats think they can pull the wool over the eyes of a public that’s been paying attention—how quaint!

Furthermore, Johnson made a strong case against Harris’s presidential bid, suggesting that adversaries across the globe would be more prone to fear a Biden comeback than Harris taking the helm. In fact, the number of conflicts erupting during Biden’s presidency only solidifies his claim that the U.S. is indeed navigating a stormy sea. His assertion that the current geopolitical climate is one of unprecedented danger ought to send shivers down spines—unless, of course, the only spine one possesses is made of Jell-O, which would explain the Democratic approach.

In addition to addressing international tensions, Johnson made a poignant move by announcing the Congressional Gold Medal award for the families of 13 service members lost during the tragic suicide bombing at Kabul airport—an event that will forever be etched in the annals of a controversial withdrawal strategy. This gesture not only serves as a reminder of the costs associated with Biden’s decisions but also spotlights a critical area that Republicans are laser-focused on this election cycle: border security. Johnson’s recent visit to the southern border reinforces the fact that while Harris flits around campaigning, the crisis continues to escalate, and accountability is a word that seems to scare the Democrats more than any foreign adversary.
